Michelagelo as a sculptor, painter, architect, poet, philosopher: an overall genius with a complex personality, he dealt with popes and prestigious patrons who treated him as their equal. His career bloomed in Florence, just a few steps away from the current location of the same David he carved at only 26. With In Love with Florence you will walk the streets he walked as he grew from young apprentice to immortal artist and you will learn about him through his most signification masterpieces: the Prisoners, the David, the New Sacristy.
Guided tour 3 hours: Academy Gallery, Medici Chapels, Laurentian Library
Guided tour 5 hours: Gallery of the Accademia, Medici Chapels, Laurentian Library, Buonarroti House, Santa Croce Church.
Tours: guaranteed year round based on museum/monuments schedule and capacity. Gallery of the Accademia always closed on Mondays.
The guided tour will be carried out by a qualified tourist guide of In Love with Florence. Meeting at your hotel or other site of your choosing within the downtown area. The tour is a walking tour through the city streets: comfortable footwear is recommended.

Walking itinerary, comfortable shoes are recommended. For entry to places of worship we require appropriate clothing: in the case of wearing tank tops or shorts, in summer it is advisable to bring along a scarf to cover the shoulders or legs (above the knee).
