Uffizi Gallery
Difficulty: AVERAGE
The Uffizi gallery was founded by grand duke Cosimo I De´ Medici to host the administrative offices of Tuscany. His son Francesco I later turned the top storey into his own private art gallery and after a few years he opened it for visitors upon request, thus earning the status of first museum ever to have open in Europe. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits absolute masterpieces by the greatest Italian and foreign painters that In Love With Florence will be pleased to show you: from the 13th to the 16th centuries: Giotto, Cimabue, Filippo Lippi, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Durer, Hugo Van Der Goes.
